LTN LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANTY POLICY

1. Covered Warranties

2. 1.a.LED Light Strips Limited LIFETIME Warranty

All LED light strips manufactured or sold by LTN (“LED Strip”) are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the life of the LED Strips subject to exclusions below. The limited lifetime warranty for LED Strips only covers replacement of the LED Strip with the same or similar LED Strip (if the part is discontinued). LTN will not cover removal of the LED Strip, repairing any damage caused by operation of the LED Strip, damage caused by removal of the LED Strip, or installation of the replacement LED Strip.

1. b.General LTN Products Limited Warranty

All products manufactured or sold by LTN other than LED Strips (“Products”) are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase subject to exclusions below. Products include electronic controllers, wheel rings, and electrical connectors whether sold individually or as part of a kit. The limited lifetime warranty for Products only covers replacement of the specific Product with the same or similar Product (if the part is discontinued). LTN will not cover removal of the Product, repairing any damage caused by operation of the Product, damage caused by removal of the Product, or installation of the replacement Product.

 

2. Warranty is not Transferable

The warranty only applies to the original end user purchaser of the LED Strip or Product and still own the vehicle on which it was installed. The warranty cannot be transferred to anyone at any time regardless if the LED Strip or Product is installed on a vehicle. If the LED Strip is installed on a vehicle, your sale of the vehicle with the LED Strip and/or Product installed, will constitute a transfer of ownership and will terminate all of LTN’s warranty obligations.   

 

3. Exclusions

This warranty does not cover any failure of an LED Strip or Product due to any of the following:

• normal wear and tear

• accident or collision 

• improper installation 

• installation of an incorrect Product or LED Strip for the vehicle

• installation or use of a non-LTN product to control or operate LED Strips or Products 

• damages caused by other faulty parts

• misuse, abuse or modification 

• salt, hail, or other environmental or weather conditions including natural disasters 

• marine use 

• chemical fallout

4.Procedure for Warranty Claim

Should you experience a problem and need to file a claim during the warranty period, please contact LTN directly. In the claim, you must provide the original purchase receipt for the covered item, a description of the problem, and your contact information. If you do not have the original receipt, your warranty claim will be denied. If you do not have your receipt, you may be able to contact the retailer where you purchased the covered item to verify your purchase. LTN may be contacted in the following methods:

5. Resolution of Warranty Claim

LTN will be the sole judge relative to all decisions on defective material or workmanship and warranty settlements. LTN may request you provide pictures or additional information as to the item and its alleged defectives. If LTN approves the claim, LTN may repair the item, request you perform certain diagnostics or modifications to the item, or ship you a replacement item at LTN’s expense. LTN reserves the right to request you to mail the defective item back to LTN at LTN’s expense. LTN will not provide any refunds as part of a warranty claim settlement. 

 

Any replacement item sent to you as part of resolution of a warranty claim, does not restart the warranty period. The replacement item, if a Product, remains subject to the warranty period of the original Product.  

 

6. General

LTN makes no other warranty beyond that provided in this LNT LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANTY POLICY. Should any disclaimer or remedy limit in this warranty be declared or become invalid or unenforceable because of any state or federal law governing the transaction, the remaining terms and conditions hereof shall remain in full force and effect. This warranty gives you specific rights and you may have other rights, which vary from state to state.
